Feels like forever since I’ve been in Town, but this was the journey undertaken this morning once again.
I arrived a little early for the meeting with my Wesgro Connect Mentor and we decided to do coffee at the new Tortilla branch. Cool lil Mexican joint.
Again, I was fortified by the wealth of experience shared by Stuart and he even brought up one of my few favourite topics; Twitter. He told me about this book that told their Start-Up tale and at this stage I was quite keen to hunt it down, but he told me he’d be glad to lend it to me. Outstanding!
What made him share that particular story? Are we going through the same phase as those Pioneers of Industry with LoveTheDoers?
Made my way to Company Gardens after, where we found our Doers Bench off limits, as they were setting up for an event of some sort. We found an alternative.
I laid out the action plan which we shall be implementing soon. Stay tuned.
Headed back the way I came to rendezvous with Dave and we agreed on collaborating going forward. Always so genial he is. He was even keen to raise the capital we requested, at my behest and I merely have to email him a Proposal before he leaves for London in the next few days.
I’ll have to get started on that ASAP and I still owe Red Bull an email.
Oh, have a fitting tomorrow for a Charlize Theron movie called Last Face or something like that…
